So it's been a lot longer than I anticipated since my last post. I'm sure you've all been waiting with baited breath for my next one :P
Anyhow, things have been busy. Chris, Nancy and I have been working on getting Evolution Theatre officially registered as a Not-for-Profit company. We are just waiting now for the paperwork to come back saying that the Federal Government has registered us. In the meantime, Chris has been reading every play he can get his hands on and then passing the ones he likes onto me for a second opinion. Nancy's going to have a lot of reading to do in the near future.
I have also started going to the Gym again. I'd been thinking about it for a while, then I discovered that GoodLife had this amazing special that ended October 31st where all the registration and admin fees only cost $1. How could I pass that up? Plus, I get a corporate rate for my monthly payments since I work for Scotiabank. Sweet! Now I just have to get my ass there on a regular basis. I decided to begin working with a trainer to get back into things and get myself on a routine - plus, I got a ridiculous deal on that too. I don't know that my body has ever been this sore before. Even when I was a member working with a trainer before! But it's a good kind of sore. The really nice thing is that I'm not spending a lot of my time learning how to use machines and do certain exercises because I see it once and think Oh yeah, I remember that one and my body just knows what to do. It feels good.
There's also the pesky thing we call work, which pays the bills and keeps me clothed and fed. I've been doing a lot of extra things lately too with our annual United Way auction and organizing a party for someone leaving the branch.
Add to all of the above Rainbow and a few other things, and you have my life as of late.
Oh yeah - the video game part. Chris bought an X-box 360 today. Used, but under a year old, and it came with 3 controllers (2 are wireless), one headset, and the DVD remote. It's a pretty sweet system. With the free video game rentals he gets at Rogers, we're pretty much set. We just need a bigger TV.... LOL
